In the early 1990's I began visiting Latin America for the federal government after a previous short period of training in Panama in the mid-1960's. In 2001, thru the good offices of the Peruvian Embassy, I located some relatives in Lima and thus began my intense interest in Latin America. I discovered that I enjoyed Central and South America so much more now that I was retired. In 2002 I spent a month in San Jose, Costa Rica touring the countryside. Another amazing place! Last year was Ecuador's turn and I was enchanted by that beautiful country. However, this year, while going to the Nueva Lengua Spanish school and living with a wonderful family in Bogota I traveled a country which I knew I would have to make a part of my life. The food was the best I had encountered, the people were more than friendly, and the scenery was just out of this world. Also, it was the first country where I did not get sick. Not one day. For me that was an event of the first magnitude! Thus this company. I now offer you this passageway into a environment very different from your own - THE COLOMBIA EXPERIENCE.
